My Set Up to Teach Music Online - Camera, Lights, Sound, Graphics Card (Cubase & Streamlabs OBS)Mar 16, 2022
I've been teaching online every week for the last 10 years. That's ANCIENT in internet years! :P
This is what I learned over these years. In this video, I'm gonna show you my set up for teaching live classes as well as how we broadcast the live classes from guest composers in Cinematic Composing.
I'm gonna share with you my OBS Streamlabs configuration to stream my live classes. How I route the audio from Cubase to OBS. The lights I use to create a studio look. How I position my cameras and mics. And what graphics card I use to take advantage of NVENC processing and lower CPU overload.
Finally, I'm gonna share how to solve the processing power problem by splitting the load between the main CPU (orchestral template), GPU (encoding and decoding), and UAD cards (UAD Plugins) to ensure that the stream goes smooth and avoiding clocking your computer.
Thanks for watching and I hope it's useful!
